OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2010. IBA received a letter of thanks from the Transport Inspectorate of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus, reported the press-centre of IBA.

IBA created an IBM Lotus-based hardware and software system that provides the following performance capabilities:

Issue of registered cards for digital tachograph, an on-board device intended for measuring, indication, and recording of the driving speed, driving time, and mileage of a vehicle

Recording and storage of the information on registration and issue of cards

Information exchange with the member states of the European Agreement Concerning the Work of Crews of Vehicles engaged in International Road Transport (AETR).

In the letter, Alexander Ivankov, Head of the Transport Inspectorate, says: “The software development is implemented with observance of the work schedule and quality, and in compliance with the Belarusian legislation. The implementation of the project would not be possible without the IBA experts. We express our thanks to the IBA specialists engaged in the project for their highly responsible and proficient approach. The Transport Inspectorate appreciates cooperation with IBA and hopes to continue it in future.”
