OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2010. The Ingosstrakh branch in Cherkessk, Karachai-Cherkess Republic has entered into agroindustrial contract with Kievo-Zhuraki agroindustrial complex located in Kievo-Zhuraki farm yard, Adyge-Khabl district of the republic. The insured item is pig stock on feed of more than 18,500 heads. The insured amount is more than 114 mln rubles.

Pursuant to the terms of the contract the animals are insured against death or forced cattle slaughtering resulting from:  fire, thunderbolt, gas explosion; natural calamities, damage by water, explosion, burglary and robbery, malicious acts of third parties, damage by water, burglary and robbery, explosion.

The insured property was pledged to Rosselkhozbank to secure a loan.

The Ingosstrakh branch in Cherkessk has been cooperating with Kievo-Zhuraki agroindustrial complex since 2006.  During the cooperation period the Insurer compensated to the agroindustrial complex for the harvest loss due to natural disasters.  The total compensation amount was 1.9 mln rubles.

In July of this year the Ingosstrakh branch in Cherkessk insured the pig stock (more than 33 500 heads) of Kievo-Zhuraki agroindustrial holding for more than 111 mln rubles.

Kievo-Zhuraki agroindustrial holding - is a dynamically developing company specializing in pork production and meat processing. The company is vertically integrated with a full production and sales cycle from animal raising in its own farms to meat processing and sale.

Kievo-Zhuraki agroindustrial complex was established in 2000 as subsidiary holding of the meat processing complex. For ten years of the agroindustrial complex work reconstruction of the pig complex buildings took place and eleven new buildings were put into operation: water-supply facility, granary, feed-processing building. Construction and territorial expansion of the complex is in progress. Major selecting efforts have been made to ensure productivity. The company is operating in three constituent entities of the Russian Federation: Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria and the Republic of Adygeya.
