OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2010. The summer season that is unavoidably coming to the end means that the Port of Gdynia will have to say good bye to the passenger ships impressing everybody with their elegance and size. Fortunately, this separation will not be too long. According to the notifications, the cruiser Delphin will call at the Port of Gdynia as early as on 10th May 2011 and inaugurate the new cruise season. The cruise season at the Port of Gdynia shall end on 16 September in the evening, following the departure of the passenger ship Empress, sailing under the Bahamas flag. This year as many as three cruisers calling at the Port of Gdynia have been honoured with the plates at the „Avenue of Passenger Ships". They are: Grand Mistral, which called on 17 June, Vision of the Seas - on 16 July and AIDAblu - on 11 August.
