OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2010. The Finance Ministry has prepared a draft bill On Amendments to the Act on Federal Budget for 2010 and 2011-2012 Scheduling Period. The bill assumed that the 2010 budget deficit should be RUB 2.38 trillion, or 5.3% of GDP, instead of the earlier scheduled RUB 2.42 trillion, or 5.4% of GDP, an amount voiced in the budgetary amendments approved by the State Duma in July.

Therefore, the budgetary gap should decrease by RUB 47.1 bn. The budget income is expected to increase to RUB 7.87 trillion from the earlier planned RUB 7.78 trillion; up RUB 81.2 bn. Expenses are to rise to RUB 10.25 trillion from RUB 10.21 trillion, or RUB 44 bn. The 2010 inflation target was increased from 7% to 8%. In addition, the document implies the upper limit for the internal debt as of year-end to come down from RUB 3.72 bn to RUB 3.49 bn.
