OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2010. Moscow planetarium will commence receiving visitors in Dec. 2010, Vladimir Resin, acting mayor of Moscow.

The renewed planetarium, with the square up to 17,000 sq.m., is expected to receive up to 1 mln visitors per year.

Moscow planetarium will offer the most up-to-date opportunities. In addition to the main hall, it will also have a lection room, souvenir shops, space park and a restaurant. Two new observatories, the biggest European vertical watch, giant globes, etc., will be installed on the roof. Moscow planetarium is to become the largest building of this type in the world.
