OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2010. Belarusian foreign trade deficit amounted to USD 2.934 billion in January-July 2010, compared to a deficit of USD 3.282 billion in January-July 2009, according to the website of the National Bank of Belarus.

Overall turnover of commodities and services reached USD 34.546 billion in January-July 2010, up 18.5% on the year.

Exports of commodities and services increased 22.2% to USD 15.806 billion, and imports increased 15.6% to USD 18.74 billion.

Commodity trade deficit reached USD 3.964 billion in the first seven months of the year (USD 13.335 billion of exports and USD 17.299 billion of imports), and service trade surplus amounted to USD 1.03 billion (USD 2.471 billion of exports and USD 1.441 billion of imports).
