OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2010.  In 2010, the branch of IDGC of North-West "Komienergo" will connect 1,097 individual dwelling zones of the Republic of Komi to electric grids. 48 complete transformer substations (CTS) of 10/0.4 kV, the total capacity of 7 MVA, are planned for installation, and 84 km of 0.4-10 kV power lines are planned for construction in order to perform engineering connection of new dwelling houses. The power company will allocate RUR 120 million for these purposes.

64% of connections to the grids are connections in the individual dwelling houses of the southern areas of the republic; other 25% of connections are connections of individual dwelling houses in Syktyvkar and its suburbs.

"Komienergo" specialists apply self-supporting insulated conductors unexceptionally for construction and reconstruction. Use of modern technologies in low voltage grids will allow not only for improvement of quality of electric power supply to consumers, but will also increase its safety.

The amount of payment for engineering connection of energy receiving devices of the maximal capacity equal to or below 15 kW inclusive for this category of consumers is RUR 550.
