OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2010.  In St.-Petersburg session of the Russian-Swedish Working group on struggle against customs offenses has taken place.

On it concrete results of law-enforcement cooperation between FCS of Russia and customs service of Sweden for 2009-2010 have been discussed, plans on the further interaction are developed and prospects of the further teamwork are discussed.

Heads of delegations of a deputy head of Federal customs service of Russia Nikita Nikitin and the chief of division on struggle against criminality of Customs service of Sweden of the director on public rights Lennart Nilson noticed in their speech that working contacts of customs officers of our countries has become more effective, business and constructive recently. The special attention in joint actions is given to struggle against contraband of tobacco production including the one from the Kaliningrad region, counterfeit and excisable goods. Practice of carrying out special target and complex international and interdepartmental operations on channels of sea and air transportation proceeds.

Following the results of negotiations the plan of carrying out the joint actions of customs services of Russia and Sweden on struggle against customs offenses for 2010-2012 is signed.
