OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2010. Delegation of the Russian Federal Space Agency visited Ukrainian National Spacecraft Control and Test Center, Evpatoria, Crimea.  The delegation was led by Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov.

Russian experts got familiar with the capabilities of the Center which may be applied in the international space projects, including those implemented under the Russian Federal Space Program. Roscosmos Head evaluated the hardware and personnel training level of the Center highly.

On Oct. 13, Anatoly Perminov and his Ukrainian colleague Yury Alexeev charied the 8th meeting of  the Russian-Ukrainian Space Subcommittee under Russian-Ukrainian Economic Cooperation Intergovernmental Board.

Russian and Ukrainian space agencies reviewed the previous actions, discussed untied coordinate and timing on the basis of GLONASS, joint space experiments on-board the ISS, remote sensing, etc.

The conclusions of the meeting were reflected in the Protocol, which defines  next steps in cooperation development in the branches enlisted above.
The parties also discussed joint event devoted to the 50th anniversary of Gagarin’s space mission.
