OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2010. This was announced by European Commissioner on Enlargement Stefan Fule, speaking at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

“We support the structural reforms in Moldova,” – the EU Commissioner noted, cited by the foreign media. According to him, EU and Moldova achieved a significant progress in relations in record time. Stefan Fule expressed regret that recent referendum on the president election order failed. “The forthcoming preterm parliamentary elections on November 28 are also very important for consolidation of democracy in the country,” – Fule noted.

He made an appeal to all political forces of Moldova to “work on the dialogue basis in order to elect the President and the Government able to take the republic through the extremely important period of reforms.”
