OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2010. Uralkali’s stock has recorded the largest growth in value among stock currently included in the RTS Index. This is according to the Index Record Book published by RTS Stock Exchange to mark the 15th anniversary of the RTS Index. Since 1 July 2003, when the company’s shares were first included in the Index, their value has grown 58.9 times from USD 0.0715 to USD 4.21. As a result, Uralkali’s shares have been recognized as the Best Performing in the RTS Index.

Uralkali’s shares are listed in List B of the RTS Stock Exchange (trading system ticker: URKA). In November 2007 the company’s stocks were first traded at MICEX. They had also been listed here in List B in September 2010.

In 2007, Uralkali launched a successful IPO to become the first Russian chemical industry firm to list on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). One LSE-traded global depositary receipt (GDR) equals 5 ordinary shares in Uralkali.

The Index Record Book is an annual publication of the RTS Stock Exchange and has been published for the fourth time. The 2010 publication contains the most important facts and figures related to the RTS Index, which was first launched on 1 September 1995.
