OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2010. Specialists from French companies AREVA NP and EDF conducted an audit of SKhK, OJSC quality management system (a member of TVEL, Rosatom’s Fuel Company). The aim of the audit was a verification of compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 international standard. Every three year, starting from 2004, the Combine receives a certificate following the results of such audits and becomes approved supplier of such companies. Availability of the certificate, issued by a consumer, means that the product quality of SKhK, OJSC corresponds to the world standards. Issuance of the certificate confirms an intention of the French companies to continue cooperation with SKhK, OJSC. Following the audit results no nonconformity was detected and no negative remarks were given. French auditors noted strong points of the Combine’s quality management system, in particular, availability of well-established personnel technical training system providing different directions. Auditors noted that not even every western company might boast such system. Besides foreign specialists noted involvement of the personnel into the work on quality system improvement – in all departments of isotope separation plant of SKhK, OJSC where audit was conducted, managers and specialists demonstrated well-established system of production and reliable product control.
