OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2010. Five students of the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation are going to receive INTERPROMBANK’s scholarship named after Oleg Antonov - one of the Bank’s founders.

As Michael Eskindarov, rector of the Academy, informed, 5 students of the Finance and Credit as well as Financial Management Faculties were going to be awarded with 7,500 rubles each for their researches in the sphere of the innovative economy.

"The main criteria for selection was the result of 2009/2010 examination sessions. The students’ social activity was also taken into account", - said Eskindarov, noting that all the scholarship holders have academic publications, make reports at conferences, participate in professional trainings and seminars, are fluent in English and undergo additional training on international educational programs.

In his turn Chairman of INTERPROMBANK’s Board of Directors Vitaly Zhogin said that modernization of the Russian economy wouldn’t be possible without people with comprehensive knowledge and that the future of Moscow as an international financial center would belong to such professionals.
