OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2010. Belarus’ OJSC Krinitsa, the largest brewery of the country, produced 11.546 million decaliters of beer in January-September 2010, up 0.1% on the year, a representative in food concern Belgospischeprom told.

The Minsk-based facility decreased beer production 0.2% to 11.15 million decaliters.

Beer output in plastic bottles went down 2.9% on the year to 9.002 million decaliters.

Krinitsa beer output in glass bottles rose 3% to 1.429 million decaliters, in kegs went up 72.7% to 931,000 decaliters and in cans fell 47.7% to 184,000 decaliters.

Krinitsa’s share in overall beer output in Belarus fell in January-September 2010 5.8 percentage points to 37.5%.

Krinitsa was founded in January 2001. OJSC Polotsk Beer and Nesvizh soft drinks plant have been incorporated by OJSC Krinitsa and operate as subsidiaries.
