On Thursday, Oct 28, the Ukrainian UX index increased 0.66% to 1,839.73 ppt on the turnover of UAH 77.3 mn. Most sectors finished with gain except steel makers (-0.4%) and miners (-0.6%). The latter went down due to SGOK that decreased 1.24%. In the steel sector ALMK saw losses erasing 1.71% while its peers AZST and ENMZ went up 0.46% and 0.16 respectively. Railcar producers advanced 1.5% as SVGZ (+1.73) outperformed the market on UAH 2.0mn. Banks added 1.0%. BAVL (+1.49%) and USCB (+1.26%) contributed the sector. Among individual names MSICH (-0.42%) moved against the market reacting negatively to the news that United Aircraft Corporation (Russia) and Antonov set up a joint venture. SMACH was on sale and plummeted 13.23% on the corporate news. On the foreign exchanges Regal surged 4.9% on USD  1.4mn against the overall sector decline. Kulczyk Oil (-2.3%) and Cadogan (-2.5%) fell the most.
