OREANDA-NEWS. November 08, 2010. According to a decision made by Power Machines’ Board of Directors the company’s two production divisions – Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod and Turbine Blades’ Plant – are to be integrated, and the latter, i.e. Turbine Blades’ Plant division, is to be dissolved as a legal entity.

The result of the integration consists in creating, within the organizational framework of Power Machines’ Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod, a new production facility, Turbine Blades’ Plant, which has incorporated production and individual technical sub-structures previously forming the dissolved subdivision.

The integration of these production divisions is aimed to avoid reduplication of management centres within the company’s headquarter and subordinate divisions as well as to achieve the optimization of production and management processes along with functional centralization. These efforts are expected to facilitate the elaboration of a unified planning policy and the development of unified financial and accounting systems. Also, the integration will help to improve the efficiency of supply and logistics support.
