OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2010. Belarusian OJSC  Verkhnedvinsk creamery plans to complete a project to create a production of dry (demineralized) whey in 2011, a representative at the company told.

The project cost is estimated at 28-30 billion Belarusian rubles (Br). The overall cost includes the construction of a new workshop, acquisition and installation of equipment with a capacity of 200 tonnes of whey a day.

The project is financed from a Belagroprombank loan and foreign credit lines.

Dry whey will be supplied both to the domestic market and abroad, especially to Russia, the EU and Asia.

The creamery was established in 1932 and transformed into an open joint-stock company in December 1998.
