OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2010. At Perm CHPP-6 of IES there was completed the assembly of the frame and wall panels of the main building of the new 120MW combined-cycle plant. At the moment heating system is being prepared to be actuated, and building ventilation system works are being completed. This will enable to continue the assembling of the main and auxiliary equipment during the winter.

Centering of Siemens steam turbine SST-800 and two gas turbines SGT-800 has been finished by the end of September. Mounting of heat recovery boilers designed for steam production by heating of water by waste heat of gas turbines, is underway.

Metalwares which will be used for mounting of auxiliary equipment of combined-cycle gas turbine (pipelines, conductor cables and turbine platforms) are being assembled in the main building of CCGT.

In the beginning of September 2010 CCGT was connected to the operating gas pipeline. This enables to start the start-up and adjustment works according to the schedule.

The project called “Malachite” is included into IES-holding investment program “Diadem” and is a key one for Perm Territory energy system development. It will enable to increase the electric capacity of CHPP-6 by three times almost up to 180MW, and heat energy – from 733,5Gcal/h up to 830Gcal/h. The heat capacity being introduced can additionally provide 50 thousand apartments with heat.
