OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2010. The President of the Bank of Moscow Andrei Borodin and Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs of the City of Moscow Yuri Roslyak have signed a Co-operation Agreement.

The Bank of Moscow is thus the first Russian bank to sign a Co-operation Agreement with the new Moscow Administration. According to the document, the parties are to develop co-operation in spheres of mutual interest to the Government of Moscow and the Bank of Moscow. In particular, collaboration is planned in fulfilling the tasks of mobilising financial and credit resources, including for the purposes of developing the road, industrial innovation, fuel and energy, housing and utilities and social complexes.

In addition, the Bank of Moscow is to be Moscow Government’s partner in supporting projects in priority spheres of the economy and implementing the project for introducing a prototype universal electronic card of a citizen of the Russian Federation.

"The Government of Moscow will continue to co-operate with the Bank of Moscow. The Bank will work on developing mortgage programmes and supporting innovation", noted Yuri Roslyak. "Everything will be done on a tender basis."

"The Bank of Moscow takes an active part in implementing various Moscow Government programmes of city-wide significance. The Bank of Moscow has tremendous experience in this", commented Andrei Borodin. "We believe that a universal bank that is traditionally integrated into the city’s economy will continue to benefit the city."
