OREANDA-NEWS. December 01, 2010. The expert commission has confirmed the competence level of the Central Laboratory of Angarsk Integrated Electrolysis Chemical Plant OJSC

According to AIEChP, a commission of Rosatom SC and A.A.Bochvar VNIINM experts under the chairmanship of Rosatom Chief Metrologist Nikolay Obysov worked at the integrated plant on November 24–26. The commission held a technical inspection of AIEChP Central Laboratory in accordance with the decree of the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency. The aim of the technical inspection was to confirm the compliance of laboratory activity with criteria of Analytical Laboratory Accreditation System (ALAS). During its work the commission assessed the effectiveness of the laboratory existing quality management system, checked material and technical base functional applicability, analyzed the condition of laboratory metrological assurance and held the experimental check of metering quality with the help of reference samples.

According to the check results, the commission acknowledged a high quality of reference sample parameters’ measurement, confirmed personnel technical competence and included new economically viable methods of environmental medium and plant finished products measurement into AIEChP Central Laboratory accreditation scope. N. Obysov particularly noted understanding by AIEChP authorities and Central Laboratory personnel of responsibility and importance of objectives, implemented in the course of product quality control organization. “In the laboratory these objectives are implemented at the highest level,” Rosatom’s Chief Metrologist said.
