OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2010. Resolution of the Central Bank No.34/13 dated 23 October 2010 "On introduction of changes and amendments to Regulations on order of liquidation of banks" came into force.

The document was adopted by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan in accordance with laws "On the Central Bank of Uzbekistan," "On banks and banking" and "On introduction of changes into legal acts of Uzbekistan due to improvement of evaluation activity".

According to the changes, point 3.2 of "Regulations on order of liquidation of banks" is supplemented with a subpoint according to which commercial banks should undergo liquidation in case of breach of legislation on counteractions to legalization of incomes received from criminal activity and terrorism financing.

Moreover, point 9.5 is supplemented with the following: after the bank's liquidation, its archive including documents on operations of liquidation commission should be submitted by liquidator to state archive depending on the bank's location.

Also, in point 7.8 of Regulations "professional evaluator" is replaced by "evaluation organization".
