OREANDA-NEWS. December 2, 2010. Iberia launched a news class of service – Business Club - to be offered on the route Madrid (Barajas) – Moscow (Domodedovo).

Passengers may enjoy wider seats with space between rows of 1.27 meters and enhanced on-board entertainment.

The Class envisages additional drinks and snacks as well as all new dishes created by famous Spanish chief cook Sergi Arola. Passengers of the new Business Class will be presented with newly designed toilet articles, pillows and blankets.

Clients of the new class are given with a preferential treatment namely: seat selection in advance, separate check-in desk, greater luggage allowance, preferential luggage handling and priority delivery, priority boarding and disembarkation. Business Club clients may use parking service in Madrid airport with no extra cost for three days.

Iberia VIP Lounge is available in the 4th Terminal of Barajas Airport in Madrid as part of Business Club service of the airline. In order to facilitate and optimize luggage check in and security check clients of the new Class may benefit from Fast Track service offered by Iberia.

Iberia and Moscow Domodedovo Airport signed an agreement in 2005 and the airline started daily operations MadridMoscow. At the moment the airline operates 11 weekly flights from Domodedovo airport and will have two daily flights from March 2011.

The airline has an extensive route network from Madrid especially to Latin America countries. In fact, Iberia is leading the Europe-Latin America market with a market share of 20%, and more than 130 flights a week between both regions. For this reason Moscow Domodedovo Airport is usually considered by many travelers as a starting point of a trip to such an exotic and far away destination. Flights to traditional tourist cities in Spain (Alicante, Malaga, Tenerife and Valencia), Portugal (Lisboa, Porto) and America (Buenos Aires, Santo Domingo, Sao Paulo) are very popular among travelers.
