OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2010. Managing operations in compliance with high international standards is a priority task for the Kulevi Black Sea Terminal of SOCAR. The safety provision and risk assessment system set up by the Company enables identification and control of all potential risks related to terminal’s activities. Besides, for attraction of professional and qualified human recourses, the company has established an effective recruitment, personnel development and evaluation system.

-The company periodically organizes health, safety, and environmental protection trainings to improve knowledge and skills of its personnel. On 22-26th of November, Moody International Limited conducted surveillance audit at Kulevi Black Sea Terminal. No non-conformances from applied ISO and OHSAS (occupational health and safety advisory services) standards were observed by external audit team members in activities of the terminal.

According to the results, company processes were estimated in total compliance with the process approach of “Plan-Do-Check-Act”. Thus, the terminal’s efforts to provide safe and healthy work place for its employees, to prevent environmental pollution, and to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction were highly appreciated by influential external auditors.
