OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2010. Berlinhosted today an extended meeting of the expert group for sci-tech cooperation between Gazprom and BASF/Wintershall Holding.

The meeting was moderated by the expert group co-chairpersons: Vlada Rusakova, Member of the Management Committee, Head of the Strategic Development Department on behalf of Gazprom and Dr. Gerhard Koenig, Member of the Board of Executive Directors, Head of the Natural Gas Department on behalf of Wintershall Holding.

In the course of the meeting the parties addressed the implementation of the 2008–2010 Program for Sci-Tech Cooperation between Gazprom and Wintershall Holding and defined the prospects for further partnership development.

In their speeches the meeting participants touched upon interaction of Gazprom and Wintershall Holding as part of large-scale joint projects, results of joint efforts to ensure process safety, engineering proposals on crossborder gas metering stations retrofitting and prospects for shale gas production.

The parties discussed and signed the Program for Sci-Tech Cooperation between the companies until 2014 and the 2008–2010 Partnership Report.

After the meeting the parties expressed their contentment with the cooperation outcomes and prospects.
