OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2010. Belarusian foreign trade deficit amounted to USD 4.365 billion in January-September 2010, compared to a deficit of USD 3.726 billion in January-September 2009.

Overall turnover of commodities and services reached USD 46.095 billion in January-September 2010, up 18.4% on the year.

Exports of commodities and services increased 18.6% to USD 20.865 billion, and imports increased 18.3% to USD 25.23 billion.

Commodity trade deficit reached USD 5.641 billion in the first nine months of the year (USD 17.596 billion of exports and USD 23.237 billion of imports), and service trade surplus amounted to USD 1.276 billion (USD 3.269 billion of exports and USD 1.993 billion of imports).
