OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2010. With the purpose to ensure quality services state-run Internet provider Bakinternet intends to replace routers next year.

Bakinternet’s head Mushvig Sadigov says that the new router will be purchased and installed in the 1st quarter of 2011.

"The new router will replace three outdated models of routers, servers installed in 2005 that become obsolete in the course of operation. The new equipment will ensure additional connection of 100,000-200,000 subscribers to broadband Internet services,” Sadigov said.

He added that today Bakinternet’s server hardware, consisting of 7 servers, meets the needs of users.

"We are updating our equipment facilities to ensure quality of services in the course of Internet development and the increasing number of Internet resources,” he emphasized.
