OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2010. Bank of Russia registered 4 bond issues of Alfa Bank, each RUB 5 bn in size. The decision to issues bonds of series 1-4 was made by the bank BoD on December 8. The issues are to mature in 5 years, have ten 6-month coupons, and a par value of RUB 1000.

The securities are to be placed by open subscription. In late October, the head of the company’s Corporate and Investment Banking Block, Eduard Kaufman said Alfa planned to make borrow USD 1.5 bn and float ruble bonds worth USD 400 mn. In 2Q2010, the bank is likely to float 7-10 year USD-denominated Eurobonds, Kaufman said. As for external borrowings, Kaufman said respective bonds could be floated in 1Q2010.
