OREANDA-NEWS. December 20, 2010. DTEK, Ukraine’s leading fuel and energy company, announces that its subsidiaries Vostokenergo (Eastenergo) and PowerTrade have signed contracts with national grids operator Ukrenergo to access interborder connection to export electricity in 2011. In total both companies will pay UAH 201.5 thousand for exporting 1710 MW.
 
Contracts were signed as a result of auction to purchase rights to access interborder connection grids taking place on 14 of December 2010.
 
Vostokenergo (Eastenergo) purchased access rights to export 545 MW towards Slovakia, Romania and Hungary, 215 MW –towards Poland, 750 MW – towards Belorussia.
 
PowerTrade purchased access rights to export 200 MW towards Moldova in 2011.
