OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2011. The Russia Forum 2011, the Troika Dialog-hosted investment forum now in its fourth year, will attract prominent businesspeople, heads of government agencies and ministries, investors, renowned industry experts, and world-renowned economists and scholars. The event, which will take place from February 2 to 4 in Moscow, will be devoted to the changing paradigm of the Russian and world economies.

The main focus at last year’s The Russia Forum 2010 was less about issues facing the Russian economy than it was about emerging markets overall. One year later, this set of issues is as relevant as before. Business leaders, government officials and investors will attempt to identify existing global growth drivers and the factors influencing economic growth in Russia and to interpret Russia’s position among the BRIC countries, the outlook on establishing new financial centers and forecasts on commodities investments. Further important topics at The Russia Forum 2011 will be the government’s influence on the economy, the outlook on state-private partnerships and the new round of privatizations.

Key speakers at the Forum will include government officials and heads of state agencies and ministries. Confirmed speakers include Arkady Dvorkovich, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, and Dmitry Pankin, Deputy Minister of Finances of the Russian Federation.
