OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2011. "Universal Food Technologies" has successfully completed an investment project to increase its production facility in Serpukhov on the basis of modern machines T10.

New Equipment "T10 CONTINUA", based on the innovation and application of new technology, will enable the factory to meet a wider range of customers. This is a unique machine in the Russian market, which upgrade the performance of the factory and its production variability to the highest level in Russia.

The "T10 CONTINUA" machine produces double chamber teabags with string and tag, made of heat-seal filter paper, for traditional teas, herbs and other infusion products. Production speed is up to 500 teabags/minute, on a continuous operational cycle. Features of the T10 machine are its very high speed, modular construction, continuous operational cycle up to the teabag counting and stacking, use of hi-tech electronic components such as brushless motors, minimal number of parts that compose the machine, allowing reduced maintenance and spare part consumption, as well as stable uninterrupted operation of the line. The machine has no lubrication points: there are only a few cams with lifetime lubrication, which allows reducing maintenance frequency to the utmost. All the operations can be controlled by the operator through an easy touch-screen that shows some display messages while the machine is running, and explains the reason for any stop.

The T10 machine modular construction allows different optional configurations, according to the customer’s requests.

"Universal Food Technology" has already been running modern equipment of TEEPACK (Perfecta), IMA, TECNOMECCANICA, BERGAMI, and current investment is in the fairway strategy to expand production capacities based on the latest technologies. The company strengthens its presence on the market through innovative management and continuous process of modernization. The current client portfolio includes major tea brands of the Russian market, and the spectrum of clients for contract packaging will increase.
