OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2011. Belarus’ Finance Ministry has posted a republican budget deficit of 2.681 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), or 1.8% of the gross domestic product (GDP) in January-November 2010, an official with the Finance Ministry told.

The republican budget indicates spending and revenues of the central administration, whereas the consolidated budget also includes local budgets.

Republican budget revenues amounted to 26.775 trillion rubles in January-November, or 89.5% of the adjusted target for the whole year.

Revenues from foreign economic activities amounted to 4.9 trillion rubles, 83.1% of the target for the year, from the profit tax 3.101 trillion rubles, 93.8% of the target, from the value-added tax 10.174 trillion rubles, 89.3% of the target.

Republican budget expenditures reached 29.456 trillion rubles, 84.9% of the target for 2010.

Expenditures on welfare, science, culture, healthcare, mass media, sports, education, etc. amounted to 5.771 trillion rubles, 86.4% of the target for 2010, national economy expenditures were at 7.721 trillion rubles, 86.4% of the target, and general state expenditures at 12.135 trillion rubles, 83.7% of the target.

Budget arrears amounted to 58.1 billion rubles as of December 1, unchanged from January 1.

Republican budget revenues are projected at 29.933 trillion rubles, and expenditures at 34.713 trillion rubles. Budget deficit is expected at or below 4.78 trillion rubles.
