OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2011. 36 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The transactions in the foreign currency were concluded by businessmen from the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Switzerland, Denmark and the British Islands bought diesel fuel, low sulphur fuel oil, liquefied gas, illuminating oil, aviation kerosene, A-80 gasoline, hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at Turkmenbashi oil refineries. L-0.5-62 diesel fuel produced at the Seydi oil refinery was bought by businessmen from the Virgin Islands. Buyers from Afghanistan concluded the transactions for liquefied gas from Nayip terminal. The transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for denim jackets and shorts, cotton yarn, terrycloth, ginned cotton, washed karakul wool. The buyer countries: Russia, Switzerland, Gibraltar, Lithuania, the Virgin Islands. The transactions totalled over USD 220.935 million.

The transactions in deposit manats were concluded by buyers from the United States, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, India, Turkey, Iran, Hong Kong, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia for dyed terry napkins, towels, bedsheets and cottonseed oil, cotton yarn and cotton flake. The transactions in deposit manats were concluded to the total sum of over 12.298 million manats.

Turkmen businessmen bought polypropylene to the sum of over 78,246 manats.
