OREANDA-NEWS. January 24, 2011. The exhibition of products manufactured in Turkmenistan closed in Iran. Representatives of business community and officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, organizers of the exhibition and numerous guests attended the closing ceremony.

As is known, the exhibition was held on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Mashhad, one of Iran’s largest industrial centres. The exhibition, the programme of which included the business forum, meetings and talks between commodity producers and entrepreneurs of the two neighbouring friendly countries, lasted five days. A number of ministries and sectoral department and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan presented their products at the exhibition.

Representatives of firms and companies from Iran and other countries highly evaluated the quality of eco-friendly products manufactured in Turkmenistan. The expositions presented by subdivisions of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern, the Food Industry Association, the Ministry of Textile Industry and the private sector of Turkmen economy were of particular interest to the visitors.

Representatives of Turkmen ministries and departments and entrepreneurs visited a number of large industrial enterprises in Mashhad, where they learnt about the work organization methods and advanced technologies applied in industry. During these meetings Turkmen and Iranian specialists had an active dialogue on exchange of experiences.

The exhibition became a splendid opportunity for Turkmen commodity producers to establish direct contacts with Iranian consumers, who had shown interest in our commodities, and exchange views on the forms of business cooperation. Those speaking at the ceremony of closing the exhibition of Turkmen goods in the Islamic Republic of Iran noted that the forum had provided a good opportunity to get the full information about Turkmenistan’s export potential given an increasing interest of businessmen from different countries of the world in the dynamically developing market in our country.
