OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2011. In 2010, the Koryazhma Branch of OJSC Ilim Group has manufactured 1,002,000 tons of market pulp and paper products, which is 12% more than in 2009.

This includes 329,000 tons of market pulp. This is 30% above the 2009 output.

Market containerboard production has gained 8%, amounting to 476,000 tons.

Paper production equaled 197,000 tons, which is 3% less than in the previous year. A total of 58,000 tons of sack paper, 107,000 tons of offset paper and 32,000 tons of paper for wallpaper manufacturing applications were produced.

The 2010 production output of JSC  Ilim Gofra (corrugated board and boxes) has reached 106,186,000 m2, which is 68% more than in the past year.

"Our main achievement in 2010 is production of 1 million tons of finished products in Koryazhma. This is a record not only for Russia, but for Europe as well. Also our Ilim Gofra mill has managed to reach full capacity. This year we will continue to carry out our investment project — new paper machine in Koryazhma. This project, I'm sure, would help our company to reach new level of effectiveness in production", — said Alexander Pozdnyakov, Ilim Group's deputy CEO.
