OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2011. Together with the air unit of the Brazilian PetroBras Oil Company, Gazpromneft-Aero has started fueling Transaero aircrafts at the Galeao Airport in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

It is not the first time that Gazpromneft-Aero collaborates with PetroBras. The first into-plane fueling services were provided within the framework of partnership relations with the Indian national oil and gas Hindustan Petroleum Corporation on October 30. Thus, Gazpromneft-Aero keeps on the dynamic expansion of its network of presence in the major airports worldwide with the focus on both popular holiday destinations and regular airlines.

Gazpromneft-Aero started its expansion through overseas jet fuel markets in 2009. Currently, the company operates in the sphere of Russian aircrafts fueling in Tunis (Monastir), Thailand (Bangkok), Egypt (Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada), Turkey (Antalya and Dalaman), China (Beijing), Jordan (Aqaba), and Norway (Tromso). In the near future, the company schedules to widen the scope of its activities in Central Asia, Middle East and Western Europe.
