OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2011. ALIDI, leading Russian provider of logistic and distribution services, signed new contract with M.video to provide logistic services in Saint-Petersburg. According to this contract ALIDI offers such services as storage, handling and picking of customer’s goods. The volume of stored goods is about 1 500 m3.

ALIDI has being partner of M.video, the biggest Russian retailer of household appliances, since 2006. In December 2010 when M.video decided to change the logistic services provider the choice was done ALIDI’s favor, as the company was ready to start operation in short time. Another factor that made M.video choose ALIDI was the long-term partnership, when ALIDI has proved to be a reliable partner ready to meet customers’ demands in set timeframes.

“The start-up of the contract was a success – we transferred the stocks of the client without interrupting operations and made all possible to decrease financial losses. We thank our colleagues from other branches for their help in the implementation of this project,” – says Dmitry Markov, Sales Director of Logistic Services of ALIDI, responsible for the North-West Region.

Since 2009 ALIDI has being providing logistic services for M.video, running its Federal Distribution Center in Nizhny Novgorod, that supplies M.video goods to the East f the European part of Russia, the Urals and the Siberia. Companies plan to develop their cooperation in the nearest future.
