OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2011. Interpipe NTRP has passed the qualification audit of the Swedish company, the SKF Group, the largest world producer of bearings, compressions, oiling systems and mechatronics.

As one of the leaders in the development and production of bearings, the SKF Group demands high product quality during the production of bearings. An integral requirement of SKF is the passing of a qualification audit during which specialists check the correspondence of the quality systems at the mill to the demands of SKF.

During the audit at Interpipe NTRP the representatives of the SKF company evaluated the correspondence of the quality management system at the plant to the ISO TS 16949:2002 and ISO 9001 standards.In addition, the auditors checked the correspondence of the quality system to the internal procedures of the SKF Group. In particular, the SKF company analyzed such indexes as APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), MSA (Measurement System Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control) and Zero Defect Management.

According to the results of the audit Interpipe NTRP received correspondence certificates of the quality management system during the production of cold-deformed and hot-deformed pipes which met the quality standard demands of the SKF Company.
