OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2011. Transaero Airlines and airBaltic have launched flights on route Moscow (Domodedovo) – Riga within the frames of previously concluded code-share agreement. According to the agreement flights between the Russian and Latvian capitals will be jointly operated by both airlines and use a joint code - UN/BT.

Transaero Airlines and airBaltic both provide their passengers for direct flight ticket sales on code-share flights through their distribution networks. Flights are operated on Boeing 737 aircraft according to the following schedule (all times local):

From Moscow (Domodedovo International Airport):

On Fridays:

UN251/BT7419 Departure at 6:25 pm. Arrival in Riga at 7:10 pm.

BT419/UN7251 Departure at 4:45 pm. Arrival in Riga at 5:30 pm.

On Sundays:

UN251/BT7419 Departure at 6:25 pm. Arrival in Riga at 7:10 pm.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays:

BT419/UN7251 Departure at 4:45 pm. Arrival in Riga at 5:30 pm.

From Riga:

On Fridays:

BT418/UN7252 Departure at 12:00 pm. Arrival in Moscow at 2:40 pm.

UN252/BT7418 Departure at 8:30 pm. Arrival in Moscow at 11:10 pm.

On Sundays:

UN252/BT7418 Departure at 8:30 pm Arrival in Moscow at 11:10 pm

On Tuesdays and Thursdays:

BT418/UN7252 Departure at 12:00 pm. Arrival in Moscow at 2:40 pm.

The code-share agreement gives customers more flexibility in choosing flight timing and allows them to use transfer facilities in both Moscow and Riga airports. Thus, passengers from Latvia will be able to use Transaero Airlines wide route network to destinations in Siberia, the Russian Far East, Asia, North and Latin America. At the same time, passengers arriving in Riga will be able to continue their trip to their final destination on board of airBaltic to the cities in Scandinavia States, Western and South Europe, Baltic States and Middle East.
