OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2011. As was reported, the German business delegation of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technologies is on a visit in the Turkmen capital. It consists of the heads of over twenty well-known German companies.

During the visit the guests conducted the talks at several ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Economy and Development, the Ministry of Railway, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Motor Transport, the Ministry of Energy and Industry, Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Turkmenhowayollary State National Service, the Ashgabat Khyakimlik, the Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs.

A lively exchange of views on development of bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic, oil and gas sector, transport, agro-industry and other sectors took place during the meetings. Focusing on the existing enormous potential to expand further cooperation, the German businessmen expressed the willingness on actively collaborate in implementation of ongoing innovative programmes and projects in Turkmenistan.

The guests visited the textile complex in Ashgabat, where they could see the manufacturing process based on environmentally appropriate technologies and samples of high-quality products in great demand in the global market.

The visit to the enterprises Bereketli and Gush Toplumy helped the German businessmen to get a clear view of the existing potential and opportunities to develop entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan.

The programme for the visit will help the German businessmen to know about production and manufacturing process of the Turkmenbashi oil refineries, the prospects for development of the Avaza national tourism zone and the seaport. The delegation will visit agro-industrial enterprises in Mary Velayat and historical and cultural landmarks of Turkmenistan.
