OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2011. In collaboration with LANIT, the Bank of Moscow has successfully rolled out a solution based on LanCashManagement and the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP-platform. The project’s main aim is to minimise operating costs involved in ATM cash servicing. The new solution helps optimise management of cash loaded into the ATM network.

Introduction of the automated system has improved the efficiency of the ATMs by cutting idle time and optimising cash replenishment periods and routes. The system builds a forecast cash demand model for each ATM, determines the optimum replenishment sums, note denominations and timing of subsequent replenishments, as well as providing other opportunities. As a result, the costs of ATM servicing have been cut by more than 15% and the ATM network now works more efficiently as a result of shorter ATM idle times and lower overall costs, in particular those related to replenishment.

"The LanCashManagement system resolves the many tasks facing the project", commented Vyacheslav Mezhov, Director of the Bank of Moscow Processing Centre. "The system cuts costs considerably and controls the entire ATM work cycle - from forecasting demand for cash to planned cash servicing".
