OREANDA-NEWS. March 1, 2011. An Agreement on Cooperation between the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region and ITERA Oil and Gas Company until 2015 was signed. The document set out further cooperation between the Government of the Region and ITERA in developing a complex gas provision system, organizing continuous supply of natural gas to consumers of the Sverdlovsk Region.

Based on the Agreement, ITERA Oil and Gas Company, jointly with CJSC Uralsevergaz (Urals North Gas) shall ensure construction of gas-fired boiler houses, connection gas pipelines between the settlements and distribution gas pipelines in 2011-2015. This construction shall be accomplished in line with the Investment Program for 2011-2015 and the Master Plan for Gas Supply and Installation of Gas Service in the Sverdlovsk Region. The Investment Plan covers 24 towns and municipalities. It envisions construction and reconstruction of 66 heat generators with a capacity of 260 mW including feeder gas pipelines with a length of about 21 km, as well as construction of about 81 km of distribution gas pipelines. The Investment Program implemented by ITERA Oil and Gas Company and CJSC Uralsevergaz and CJSC Regiongaz-invest (Regional Gas Investment), its subsidiary companies, is worth Rub. 1.62 billion.

The Government of the Sverdlovsk Region, in its turn, shall assist CJSC Uralsevergaz and CJSC Regiongaz-invest in getting payments from consumers of the Region for natural gas and thermal energy consumed, and in settling the accrued indebtedness. It will also provide state guarantees for bank loans raised for the purpose of implementing investment programs intended to construct new heat generating capacities in the Region. The guarantees shall be provided in line with the established procedure.
