OREANDA-NEWS. March 1, 2011. LLC  “Sberbank Investitsii”, a subsidiary of Sberbank of Russia, acquired a stake in LLC  “Tsentrstroy”, the winning bidder at the auction sale of JSC  “Mosmetrostroy”, on December 23, 2010. Size of the acquired stake was not disclosed. Executives of the company comment that the acquisition decision was made with regard to the investment attractiveness of the asset. Shares of the company possess a significant growth potential in the mid term. Acquisition of the assets paves the way for Sberbank of Russia to strategic partnership with LLC  “Tsentrstroy” in large-scale infrastructure projects in Russia and abroad.

Kashin Evgeny Iosifovich was appointed the director general of JSC  “Mosmetrostroy”, Shtern Gennady Yakovlevich—the board of directors chair.

LLC  “Sberbank Investitsii” is a 100% subsidiary of Sberbank of Russia incorporated in 2010 for the purpose of participation in the equity of attractive investment assets and provision of consulting services, primarily to the bank’s customers.

JSC  “Sberbank Rossii” is the largest bank of Russia, Central and Eastern Europe controlling about 30% of the Russian banking assets and the key lender to the national economy.
