OREANDA-NEWS. March 09, 2011. Mr. Sergey Makarov, Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Stroytransgaz, paid a working visit to Tatarstan, during which he had a meeting with President of the Republic Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov. Within the meeting, both parties showed their interest in using experience and potential of Stroytransgaz for implementation of large-scale construction projects in various sectors of the Republic’s economy. Specific steps in this regard were discussed at the meetings of Mr. S. Makarov with Vice Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Energy Minister Ildar Fardiev and general executives of the largest enterprises of the Republic, such as TATNEFT, Tatneftekhiminvest, Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

Head of Stroytransgaz also visited Tatkabel company, where he viewed the new process utilities buildings equipped with most up-to-date process equipment, and discussed with the company’s top management the opportunities of using the company’s products in construction of power delivery facilities for Stroytransgaz projects.

During the visit to Kazan, the Chairman of Stroytransgaz Management Board took part in the eleventh meeting of Joint Russian-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation (IGC), which was presided by Mr. Igor Sechin, Vice Chairman of the Russian Government on behalf of the Russian side and Mr. Taner Yildyz, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey on behalf of the Turkish side. During the IGC-related events and bilateral meetings with Turkish businessmen, the Chairman of Stroytransgaz Management Board emphasized the tendency to long-term and fruitful cooperation in oil and gas, power and infrastructure projects on Turkish territory. Lines and opportunities of cooperation in the spheres above were specifically discussed at the meetings of Sergey Makarov and the top management of the Turkish companies Botaє and Зhalik Enerji within the framework of IGC.
