OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2011. DIXY Group - one of Russia's leading retailers of foods and everyday products - has announced revenue growth of 21.2% in Russian rubles (22.2% in USD) for the first two months of 2011 over the same period last year.

DIXY Group's total revenue for the first two months of 2011 amounted to RUR 11,677 million, representing a 21.2% increase over RUR 9,637 million for the same period of 2010. In USD terms revenue increased by 22.2% to 393 million, compared to USD 321 million for the two months of 2010.

Retail revenue from DIXY stores for the first two months of 2011 amounted to RUR 9,993 million (USD 337 million), which represents a 22.9% growth in RUR (24.0% in USD) over the same period of 2010.

Retail revenue from MEGAMART stores for the first two months of 2011 amounted to RUR 1,172 million (USD 39 million), which represents a 9.0% growth in RUR (10.0% in USD) over the same period of 2010.

Retail revenue from MINIMART stores for the first two months of 2011 amounted to RUR 350 million (USD 12 million), which represents a 9.4% growth in RUR (10.3% in USD) over the same period of 2010.

Revenue from other activities, such as marketing revenue, sublease income and wholesale revenue amounted to RUR 162 million (USD 5 million).
