OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2011. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan running payment balance statistics says of keeping of fatal dependence of the country’s foreign trade on fuel-energy complex over 2010.

The CBA reports that by 1st January 2011fuel and raw material export brought to the country USD 25.398  bn against total export of USD 26.476 bn. A year before these indexes made up USD 20.217 bn and USD 21.096 bn respectively. Over the reported term export of fuel and energy complex totaled USD 25.107 bn against USD 19.969 bn a year earlier.

At that, oil export proceeds reached USD 23.8 bn for last year: USD 22.3 bn from export of crude oil and USD 1.571 bn from petroleum products. The Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) provided oil export for USD 21 bn and the other producers for USD 1.3 bn., including the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) for USD 1.162 bn  and condensate from Shah Deniz gas field for USD 126.3 million.
