OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2011. Meeting between representatives of Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) headed by its President Andrey Kondakov and Azerbaijani entrepreneurs held on April 13 in Baku Business Centre supported by the Ministry of Economic Development, organized by AZPROMO.

Representatives from Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Finanices, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) as well as businessmen operating in finances and banking, consulting and other sectors participated in the event.

The main objective of the meeting was to further enhance cooperation between international financial organizations and local businessmen as well as to present Azerbaijani investment projects and discuss the projects financing opportunities.

Speaking in the meeting Head of Administration of the Ministry of Economic Development Samir Veliyev underlined the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and international financial institutions including Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. He pointed that share of Azerbaijan in BSTDB's authorised capital comprises 5%. At the same time bank is an active participant of the private sector in Azerbaijan and already financed several projects in the country. Further Head of Administration invited local businessmen for active cooperation with the reprentatives of BSTDB which would enable realization of their investment projects. Further President of BSTDB in the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov addressed the participants of the meeting speaking about acitivities of the bank in Azerbaijan. BSTDB President Andrey Kondakov presented an extented information about the institution followed by his colleagues presenting financial and other services as well as cooperation opportunities. The official part was concluded with presentation of AZPROMO President Adil Mammadov and AIC Executive Director Afgan Isayev speaking about investment climate and business opportunities in the non-oil sector of the Azerbaijani economy as well as projects under the implementation.
