OREANDA-NEWS. April 14, 2011. Ukrainian Airlines will launch flights from Kiev to Karlovy Vary – a popular resort and tourist attraction center located in the region of Bohemia in western part of Czech Republic – on April 21st, 2011.

The Ukrainian carrier will start operations on the new route performing 2 flights per week on Mondays and Thursdays. Duration of a flight between the cities will amount to approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes.

The new flight is primarily aimed at tourist flows’ service to the Czech city, founded in XIV century and famous for its healing water springs and unique architecture.

Flights to Karlovy Vary via Kiev will also become available to residents of ’s largest regional administrative centers, including Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lvov, Odessa, Sevastopol, Simferopol and Kharkov.

At Borispol, the Airlines’ base airport, the flight to Karlovy Vary will be connected with many AeroSvit’s international destinations, in particular, cities of Russia, Transcaucasian countries, Middle East and Central Asia.

AeroSvit has been present in Czech market since 2000. In summer season the airline will perform daily flights between Kiev and Prague.
