Our increased tax payments in 2010 were to a large extent conditioned by a significant growth of our tax base due to increase in volume of electricity sales as well as favourable price environment, increased coal output and exports operations. We are continuously improving our business processes, enhancing the efficiency and profitability of our companies. In the same time we are striving to keep our tax accounting in line with the best world standards. We understand this generates revenues for the state budget and budgets of  local communities where our employees work and live.’
