OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2011. Russian Technology Transfer Network (RTTN) together with the partner of Enterprise Europe Network in Finland - Turku Science Park – organized training for RTTN employee within the limits of program “EEN Staff Exchange”.

The purpose of trip was to acquaint with work of Enterprise Europe Network EEN), to study its objectives, problems, structure, examples of practical use of various EEN tools for establishing partnership.

Two-day training included practical studies on the basic aspects of the advisers work of Turku Science Park in the Enterprise Europe Network: use of communication tools and databases (FirstClass, BCD, BBS), brokerage tools (organization/participation in brokerage events, AMT, etc.), potential estimation of SMEs for internationalization (technology audit, visit to the company). Also, there were arranged meetings with the managers and employees of Finnish SMEs to get acquainted with their activities, establish contacts, and identify opportunities for further cooperation with Russia.

The trip proved to be useful from a professional point of view. Most important for the trainee was to get familiar with the experience of Turku Science Park and participation in a meeting between the client (small company) and consultant of Turku Science Park.

The program “EEN Staff Exchange” is a unique possibility to improve the skills of Network Partners' staff members, to establish necessary contacts with a Partner Organisation which could help them to improve productivity in problem areas, disseminate good practices and support the activities of Network Partners from less developed regions.
