OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2011. On April 26, 2011 during the visit of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin to the Kingdom of Denmark, State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)” and Eksport Kredit Fonden (EKF), a Danish state export credit agency, signed an Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding dated June 05, 2009.

The Addendum was signed by Mr. Vladimir Dmitriev, Chairman, on behalf of Vnesheconombank and by Ms. Anette Eberhard, Chief Executive Officer, on behalf of EKF.

The document envisages cooperation in financing of projects that provide energy efficiency and energy saving technologies development in the Russian Federation, particularly those to be implemented by Renova-StroyGroup and Danfoss A/S, a Danish company, in Sverdlovsk region.

The Addendum also reflects EKF’s willingness to consider the possibility of providing insurance cover under the Ruble-denominated credit facilities raised by Vnesheconombank to finance projects implemented in the Russian Federation.

Signing the document will ensure further progress in economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Denmark as well as promote the use of Russian Rubles in servicing and financing of international trade operations.
